MISSION:
Since our incorporation
in 1991, our mission has been to develop and
manufacture protective coatings that are durable, environmentally
friendly, and reasonably priced. Important advancements in the field of
waterbourne technology have led to the replacement of our original
solvent based products by coatings that are water-based. These coatings
offer superb protection, durability and leave the smallest possible
footprint on our environment.
OUR
COMMMITMENT
TO
ENVIRONMENTAL
RESPONSIBILITY:
Unlike bituminous or tar
based
roof
coating systems,
our Safe-T-Plex elastomeric
roof coating
membrane is a non-flammable, heat-reflective,
water-based
system. This product can be sprayed or rolled over most existing
roofing systems,
eliminating the labour to strip and replace the old roofing materials.
This eliminates the costly and environmentally damaging process of
dumping old roofing materials in landfills. Safe-T-Plex exceeds
US Energy Star and Canadian LEED requirements for
reflectivity and
emissivity.
Safe-T-Plex is a pure
white,
83% reflective coating that
virtually eliminates heat build up, and will save up to 50% of
air-conditioning costs, depending on building structure and
geographical location. Safe-T-Plex
remains permanently flexible, even
at temperatures well below freezing, and offers superior roof
protection
for up to 20 years or more - truly a greener and more cost effective
alternative to re-roofing!
The manufacturing of our
roof
coating is a closed circuit process.
Dregs and rinse medium from each batch are re-processed and
incorporated into the
succeeding run, preventing chemical waste from reaching the
environment.
Our vapor
barriers
and acid resistant coating systems are
water-based and contain no flammable solvents.
To facilitate
the
removal of most paints, urethane, epoxy, inks and
adhesives, we have developed a bio-degradable, anti-bacterial hand
cleaner
that cleans
quickly without the use of harmful chemicals or solvents.
Although we are
constantly striving to
improve the
quality, durability and ease of application of our products, we devote
considerable time and effort to insure that our products have minimal
impact
on the environment.

Elastomeric
Roof
Coating
meets
the
US
ENERGY
STAR
guidelines
for
energy efficiency. Safe-T-Plex
reflects 83% of the sun’s heat. Properly installed, Safe-T-Plex White
Elastomeric Roof Coating will reduce air conditioning costs by as much
as 28%, depending on geographic
location and individual building characteristics. Heat stress on
the roof structure is eliminated.
